I have a 2008 ranger sport 4x4 and i want to put i nice set of tires on it i am looking at buying BFG allterrains. what is the biggest tire i can fit on this truck it already has a leveling kit on it and was hoping to get 32's on it would this work also looking to put a set of off road light on it but dont really want a bull bar wouldn't mind just a light bar but cant seem to find one any ideas or pictures of what you guys have done would be great.

Realistically 31's would be what I would recommend to you. As for the light bar LightForce makes one that bolts up to your front license plate bracket on the front bumper to hold 2 lights. I've got on sitting in my closet I haven't put on yet but it seems to be pretty sturdy.

get bfg at ko's 235 75 15's work great for me. as for lights, unless your in a forrest, some basic aux light work fine from canadian tire. big tires just look stupid on a truck with no lift. sorry but thats what i find.

I've got 32x11.5r15 BFG ATs on my torsion-twisted 2000. Fit looks great, and there's plenty of room. If you don't like or can't find that particular light previously posted from lightforce, Carr has a similar model that's made in the USA. :icon_thumby:
The 32's are pricey tho, so if you're just going for 'show', you'll save a couple bucks going with 31's.

I have a 2000 that i was thinking of a T bar crank and 32's, but then i thought to myself, really what am i accomplishing with 32's? Lower Fuel Mileage, less clearance in the wheel wells, probably some rubbing issues, and a higher bill at the tire store. Without a lift i'm just going to stick with 31x10.50 tires with some wider offset rims, so the tires are totally hidden inside the wheel wells. I personally would recommend 31's unless you lift a little bit. As far as lights go i have KC 3x6 100w lights and they put out great light, i'm just going to mount them straight to the bumper, don't need a bar to mount them on, just a 3/16" hole to mount.

I have to disagree to a certain extent. I have 235 / 85r16's (32x9.5r16), and I love 'em, I've got a small torsion crank lift, and they go lock to lock, no rub, look great, not stuffed, full flex, and they were reasonable. Go to the mom and pop shops, I cannot stress this enough. They will have a NON-namebrand tire. Mine are traction king's. Ever heard of them? But yea, they are said to wear like mother, grip excellently, and are an approved snow tire. All things have been proven true over the last month, snow included. I work at the tire shop, and I payed 700cdn, so expect that plus 200 for install balance ect, but there are plenty of good tires out there, without paying the big name (BFG, Toyo, Goodyear, Kumho ect) prices. Either way, a skinny thirty two is not a problem.

so you put the 32's on your stock rims and there wasn't an issue. this is what i want but might go with 31's from what people are saying the only other question is how wide of i tire do i need does it correspond with he rim width or can i go a little wider i like the wide tire look and would like to get it without buying rims
