Ok so I'm wanting to get new tires for my 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4x2 super cab with NO lift and stock suspension. I currently have 225/75/15 Road Hugger GT's on the factory seven spoke 15x7" alloy rims and I'm wanting to get 31x10.5x15 Good Year Authority TA's for my truck but I want to know if I can fit these tires on my truck with no rubbing before I go out and buy them and find out I need a lift as well? Any body have 31" tires on there stock ranger? Post pices and any info is greatly accepted.

I know you can fit 30x9.5's with a little rubbing. If you go to the techincal section there is a pretty in depth fit chart.

I have 235/75R15's on my 05 4x2 Ranger with no rubbing (about the same as a 30, maybe a tad smaller). 31's might fit with a bit of rubbing, I haven't tried any though.

what about 255/75/15? Do ya'll know if they would fit with no rubbing? The Good Years don't come in 31x9.5x15 from walmart. but I'll keep searching

Well the 255/75 translates into a 31ish tire that is on the narrow side. It would fit better then the 31's. with metric tires or even standard sizes it is hard to say until they are on the truck.

I know that 235/75/15 tires fit beautifully on a 2000 Ranger 2wd. (roughly a 30x9.50x15)

I think 31's will fit with at the most minor rubbing. Always wanted to try it but never got around to it yet. (I also gave thought to sticking a set of 35's on it for at least a picture when I get them mounted up for my choptop...)

235/75/15 and 3.73 gears with a 5-speed and 3.0 was alright. 31's would likely dog it down and deeper gears would be better.

I'll have to see if I have a better pic than that, they're 235's

235's with lots of room. With a 2.3L, 3.73's, and a 5 speed it still has plenty of power.
