my 33 10.50s are rated up to 50psi but I'm wondering what most of you are running them at for daily driving to get an even wear. Right now I'm at 34 and it still seems a little too inflated. Also what about for off-road or snow driving.

Go by the door sticker, not the tire.

or better yet, draw a chaulk line accross the width of the tread on one front and one rear tire. drive for a block or 2 then get out and check the chaulk. adjust the pressure until the line wears off evenly (not the edges or the middle first).

my 31's run about 30psi.

x2. The door sticker is for stock tires (not just size) on an everything stock vehicle.

I've always been told thats the best way for after market tires.

+1 different size tires require different air pressures on the same vehicle I.E. load range C2 D2 and E2 sizes. i would personally run 35 but no lower than 30 IMO.

I've found the chalk test often leads you to pressures that are much too low.
A little bit more contact in the center on the rear tires won't be detrimental to tire life. Running pressures lower than 30PSI can be though (even though it might wear somewhat more evenly, it'll still wear faster, and will eat into your MPG too).

FWIW, I run 35 front, 30 rear on my Ranger (33x12.50R15s) and 32 all around on my BII (35x12.50R15s). With proper tire rotation, the wear remains even on all 4.

i run 40 in my 31x1050x15s and they wear perfectly even, as long as i keep them rotated properly

I run that B**ch to da limit cause dats be hoz I b rollinz

jk

chalk line thing seems the best

I run 35# on all 4 tires.
I tried 38#up front & 35#rear,but the front starting wearing bad & starting feeling like offroading while on the hwy.
I rotated back to front & went to 35#all the way around.
It now rides about as well as you could expect for MT tires.
35#up front is a huge improvement over 38#.(took a few months for the rear~rotated from front~to level out.)
I assume brand will also effect pressue...I run Mickey Thompson MTZ 33"

on my 35's i run 35psi in the front and 30psi in the rear. get a great contact patch,

My rangR is heavier than most (2500lb front, 3500lb rear), and I found that on 31/1150/15 the rear is good @40psi. The front is still in committee (and out to lunch) but 40 seems too hi yet, next set of tyres Im trying @35psi (except I may go to another size which calls all bets off).
