i don't think there's any meat to put groove's into on those honestly, i mean i've been wrong before, but how deep of grooves do you think is possibly to cut onto those?

If you are using them for offroad only, groove them up. The worst that could happen is you cut too far and ruin an already bad tire, or you get a flat on the trail. More than likely though, you will get a good bit more use out of them. Do not groove them if you plan on using them onroad at all. That's an accident waiting to happen.

I'm not sure it will work. Normal tires don't have enough room from the bottom of the treads to the cords.

Also, I think it only works right with straight treaded tires.

Usually I don't bother grooving normal tires as the carcass doesn't have enough meat to justify the effort. I have split up lugs and changed tread patterns plenty, but I usually save the carcass grooving for the michelin military tire, XML/XZL/XL etc. which you can take 1/4-3/8" out of without worry.

*shrugs* Meh, I dont see the harm if it is ONLY off road in the dirt, and not speeding. Have at it.

It doesnt look like you took that much out of it though.
