Have an '85 Bronco II with a 4" rough country lift and 31/10.50/15 tires on 15x8 wheels.
Planning on installing a James Duff stage 3, 5 1/2" to 6" lift. Want to run 33" tires and was curious what rim size everyone would recommend, 15x8 or 15x10? Any answers or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!!

I would go with 15X10's. The wider rim will give you a wider footprint on the road, thus more stability. Once you get up there with the 6" lift, anything helps! Plus I think they look better. You might have to do some fender trimming though if you go with 15X10's. (I did).

Heres mine with a 6" Skyjacker. 33-12.50's on 15X10's

Looks nice!! How does it handle? I have fender flares on mine so trimming will be interesting.

Thanks! It handles surprisingly well. I put pretty stiff shocks on it though, so that could make a big difference.

You might get lucky and not have to trim any. I think when my lift was put on, we didnt locate the crossmember under the tranny all the way forward, so the axle centerline was off.

If you'll be offroading it a lot, 15x8 will be better. 15x8s will retain the tire bead better when you air your tires down for a good trail (they also aren't as prone to getting damaged by rocks or knocking off the balancing weights because they allow the tire to stick out past the rim's edge a bit more).
