Need some help, when i got my truck back from the shop,it was running like dog s--t,not even enough power to get out of it's own way. When i got home,i messed with the timing and it started sounding a little better but still no power, then i checked the plug wires and they were all not where they should have been.I put them in the proper order and now it won't even fire, what's goin' on?

180 out would explain the plug wires not being in the rite spot and it running the shop just re wired it to make it run

when i was doing my timing on my 91 ranger i used a timing light. makes that job go by in about five minutes and saves the head ache for something else lol (if thats your problem). They are universal so no matter what car or truck you have it will always be handy when messing with the timing. ;)

what i have always done in toyotas is just move the distributer tooth by tooth untill it runs then keep turning it till it doesnt miss and runs right..
