Ok guys we're stumped we have tried to adjust the timing about 20 times on our 86 bronco 2 2.9 liter v6 the arm on the crank pulley or whatever it is was bent back so we bent it forward it may be a degree or 2 off we have just a basic timing light. Have tried setting light to 0 and timing to 10 and 12, we have tried setting the light to 10 and the timing to 10 and each time yes disconnected and reconnected the spout connector. And we have also true up or down a degree or 2 on the timing nothing is working can someone please help!!

What do you mean by "nothing is working"? The timimg will not adjust, it loses timing, you can't see the mark with the timing gun, etc.?
