I got the cylinder head all finished and I went to start and it just turns but doesn't start which make me think timing is still off. I cant find any mark on the crankshaft anywhere i'm sure that's the one out of sync also i don't have a triangle or diamond on my cylinder head sprocket just an indent I will include photos. Can anyone spread some insight

NVM all I've got her running!! 5 months project taught myself how to do a cylinder head and work on trucks! whoo whoo!!!

You oughta buy a camera or a gadget that will take a clear picture. All so far are fuzzy at least on my computer screen.

Why would you scribble in red all over any sort of mark you are trying to show people? At least let them see what you see instead of hiding it.

The crankshaft will be at TDC for #1 and #4(they move in unison), when the keyway in the crankshaft is at 12:00 o'clock.

Glad to hear you got it running. Stick to it. It will pay off over and over and over.

Either learn, or pay. If you remain ignorant, and don't learn, you will have to pay someone else who has taken the time to learn to do things you could do for yourself. So learning, in and of itself, is useful. As they say... You never know...
