My timing belt wore out and is just spinning on the cranck shaft gear. none of the other shaftes ar turning.
Question is, I kept tring to start it while diagnosaing the problem, so Have I probably messed up the valves and pistons.???? In other words, by cranking the bottom of the motor over, did I smash some pistons into any open valves or will it be OK?>

Your engine is non-interference, so you didn't do any damage to the valves.

My tensioner broke while i was cruising down the highway, put it back it time and it fired right up. I was really worried about the whole bent valves at first because my brothe has a POS Honda and it has an interference head and he did bend all his exhuast valves when he downshifted to the wrong gear and stripped the timing belt
