Congrats on a great website.
My timing belt broke and in attempting to replace it I damaged the sprocket (broke a tooth on the sprocket that is pressed onto the crankshaft pulley). Is this sprocket for the firing of cylinders by way of the crankshaft position sensor and is this an item that must be ordered through the dealer. The damage occured before I went to this website to find information on crankshaft pulley removal which was absolutely the greatest. I hope that you can help me through this bout of ineptitude. Thanks

If you mean you broke a tooth on the timing sprocket on the crank, then you need to find another. If you install it like it is, then it will skip and could cause serious damage including bend valves.
