True, but the camshaft position sensor (not 100% certain on if it's used in the 94 Rangers) must be installed correctly for the computer to make heads or tales of when to fire. Not to say that that's the only sensor it uses... it also uses the crankshaft position sensor too. All must work in harmony for things to work correctly.The timing is completely computer-controlled and non-adjustable.
