Well, I've enjoyed my Ranger while I've had it, but its time to go fullsize(truck or Bronco). The wife and I just got a 27' travel trailer and it weighs pretty much the same as the Ranger. My father-in-law is going to haul the trailer for me this summer. I was thinking on fixing up my Ranger, like body, paint, and a body lift and see if I can trade it for a fullsize Bronco, or get hopefully $4000 for it. I wish I could keep it, but I can't afford to have two trucks, plus I have my 78 f-100 I plan on fixing this summer. Maybe after the 460 swap I'll use the 78 to haul the trailer. A 460 on carb, not sure I want the gas bill. I'll see where I'm at in the fall and make a final decision on what to do.

From an offroad perspective bigger is not better. I think a Ranger on 40s is better than a FSB on 40s.

But from a towing perspecive, weight it important. I think you're making a good decision. :icon_cheers:

i agree with evan, small trucks can go anywhere i full size can and any thing can pull them out
