I think your best bet would be either the rockfords or the polks. But since you have the bass covered then I'd go with polk audio, their speakers have very crisp and clear mids and highs.

if your not runing an amp. get the alpines. there highs would sound the best un amped.

the others are good speakers. but better with an amp.

and the rockfords highs arent that great. they have decent lows and mids. but the more of a rock speaker.

also check these out. not alot of midbass. but crystal clear highs. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_27338_RE-Audio-RE57FR.html

Ohh so rockfords are better for say rock music... Good to know. Figured since I'm wiring seats, I'd do some audio. "baby your a fiiiirework!!" lmao. Let's see if my brother in law still wants a ride to work hehe... God I'm evil.

I have these Alpines in my truck... very pleased with the sound :headbang:

Have a Alpine 10" sub in ported box with Alpine amp that bumps quite nicely. Using an Alpine Head unit but no Amp for the 4 speakers.

I bought my son a 97 Ranger (reg. cab) and installed another Alpine Head unit and we put Kenwood speakers in it. They are 3 ways and sound OK.

Hope this helps!
