My engine has a little over 201,120 miles on it. So far my power steering, radiator as well as oil leak. I have a machine shop that will take my motor out, rebuild it which includes machining, and put the motor back in for $3500. Im going to use the 410 cam and a stage 2 head job from Tom Morana. If I can get somewhere around 200 Wheel HP, I will be happy.
I would like to use the aluminum upper intake from an explorer in stead of the plastic intake I have. I do not know if the aluminum is better, I just don't see how the plastic will stay reliable.
Any comment or suggestions would be appreciated

3500 isnt bad for a pull and rebuild thats a little less than what i have into my 5.0 swap

I thought about the 302 swap, but I do not have the time to rewire the truck.

I am using the 410 cam, does anyone know how much torque it puts out?
