Hello everyone. I have a '90 ford ranger 4x4, and this really weird thing is happening. When I turn the wheel with the car stationary, the car rolls from left to right. Right to left. I watched the wheels as they turned, and the only thing I saw happening was when the wheel went to full lock, the steering stabilizer rotated a little. Anyone have any ideas what this could be? Thanks in advance!

some roll is normal. the geometry changes quite a bit as the steering knuckles pivot.

This is significantly more than normal though. It just started doing it today.

Shake the front end down. Check ball joints and wheel bearings. Those could cause the issue.

check the stabilizer bar end links too.

Well, I had an old Ford N-8 that did that back in the late 60s. But that was because the front wheels were laid over at about a 45 degree angle when turned to lock.
