I just put it on and it sounds just like stock, but just a little louder at high rpms. I thought they were suppoded to sound like flowmaster 40's??

IMHO, it doesn't matter what you put on a 4 cylinder. It will always sound like hud.

can you post some pics of where/how your hangers are mounted and what kind you used? cause im puttin a turbo muffler on and im tryin to figure out how to hang it

I just drilled a hole in the frame and bolted it on. That was for the turbo muffler. the welded is longer, so I'm going to have to get creative. I'll pry tack hangers to the muffler and hang it from there.

And Shane96, It doesn't sound bad, you just can't hear it haha

i really like my flowtech raptor turbo muffler, its throaty and exactly what i wanted...

the only muffler that made a difference in the sound of the 2.3 in my truck is the rotary one...

A 40 series (what your muffler is) isn't that loud on an otherwise stock RBV exhaust.

yeah I scrapped the thrush and put on a super 44 dumped before the tire and it's lots better

i put a thrush welded on about a month ago.... its not super loud like a 40 on a v8, but it sounds really nice. its on a 3.0l though.
