ok but would it matter if it was 2 inch tail pipe? would that make it sound bad or should i get like 2.5 inch or something???

I am assuming that is 2" stock pipe then right? it will give it a different sound from 2.5" pipe... louder or deeper i don't know. but you can order 2.5" pre bent ranger pipe off summit.

You can go either way. I am getting a full dynomax system with 2.5" all the way back.

my 3.0l with the flowmaster 40 got alot deeper after towing a tendem axle trailer with a stump grinder on it. i only went a few miles, but i had to work the motor pretty hard to get that thing movin. having a tail pipe will make it sound deeper, plus it will keep your exhaust from covering your rear axle with moisture and black shit.
