I got a 95 3.0L 2wd b3000. I was looking to get a new throw out bearing, but decided not to. The car is my beater, and the old bearing looks and feels fine.

I got a pic of the throw out bearing on www.rockauto.com, and there are 2 rings that come with it. One is the snap ring that holds the bearing from coming out too far. The other was a smaller looking ring, and I'm not sure what it is for. I didnt see anything like that when I took out my tranny. Anyone know what it is?

I think thats the O ring for the Line to the slave cylinder. Thats just a guess though. in the picture are the two rings significantly different sizes?

I have a brand new throwout bearing that you can have for $10 shipped. I take paypal.

Yep, I'm willing to bet that's what it is. It usually comes with a new snap ring (which you don't really need most of the time), and a new o-ring for the brass end of the hydraulic line that snaps into the slave cylinder.

There's really nothing else there to replace besides the slave cylinder.

Oh ok. The pic wasnt very clear, but yeah, it did look like the size of that o-ring for the line. I'm a little dissapointed the my new slave cyl did not come with a new O-ring or the tool to remove the line.

What brand throw out bearing do you have? Sounds like an awesome deal

No slave cylinder I know of has ever come with the removal tool, and I just get the slave cylinder at good' ol AutoZone. When I got mine it was lifetime so now I just walk in and swap them out for free.......lol
