So my 94 3.0 has a rusty throttle cable and the cruise control cable is broke is there any universal kits that are cheaper than the dealer price $133.00 Just for the throttle I can live with out cruise

Also is there a universal dipstick tube mine rusted in half? dealer wants $36.00 for it.

Or should I hunt these things down in the junk yard?

I think I'd look on ebay.. and ask questions of anyone posting for the exact parts I needed..
Example: If someone is posting for Vlave covers or such.. I'd ask if he had what I was looking for and didn't post it.. But for sure I'd not look in junk yards where all the vehicles were eaten up the same as yours is..

Ya I would not buy something from the yard if it was the same as mine I don't understand why these things are rusty the truck is in mint shape other than a few debbie downers

I have a cruise control with the cable id be willing to give u if u would pay shipping. It works fine i just wanted to clean up under my hood a little.

My suggestion for the dipstick is to remove it, find aluminum tube that will fit over the existing tube snug and cut to oem length. It's what I plan on doing.

Thanks for the offer but I am more worried about the throttle cable than the cruise :icon_cheers:
