i searched this out, thought i had asked b4 but couldn't find the thread. what cable did you guys use on your carb build? running with edelbrock 600 that was a 2.8 carbed truck in 83 before the conversion. the original cable is way too long for the carb. no kick down rods, prefer to do it manually.

what you guys using? and can give photos measurements if needed. already purchased a performance world linkage kit for the springs and adapters.... just needing the throttle cable from the go peddle to carb.

thanks & (good pictures welcome)!!

Did you figure something out on this? I have the same problem using my stock 4-cylinder throttle cable. The stupid thing seems like it's 8 feet long and it finally broke on me. I've been looking for V6 trucks at the junkyard because I thought they'd be pretty close, but I guess not.

I've looped mine with no issues. Think its a factory 2.9 cable, can't remember
