throttle cable for 97 w/ 351w

i recently acquired an unfinished 97 ranger w/ 351w and a t5. im close to getting it right but need to do something about the throttle cable. the factory one is way too long. are they any year rangers or other vehicles i could take one off of while at the junkyard that would work? dont want to buy aftermarket. thanks for any help

here is how I did mine. using the factory cable. it was only supposed to be temporary. but I never had any problems out of it for 5 years, so I never changed it out. and that is a lokar bracket.

was wondering if anyone had any other pictures of throttle cable setup on 93-97 rangers like this because i am in the same situation with my 94 the throttle cable is too long, but no offense i would like something a little cleaner looking, any part numbers would be helpful. thanks
