What do you use to clean the throttle bore of a '92 3.0L? Ford says not to use carb cleaner, etc because of the coating on the bore.

Where is the oil pressure sending unit on a 3.0L?

Thanks.
Dave

thats what ford says. lots of people have done so anyway with no adverse effects (myself included). i figure a clean, uncoated TB is better than a dirty coated one.

oil pressure sender is behind the passenger side head (a round, single wire gizmo):

At my Auto Tech course we use a TB cleaner made by 3M that come in in a spray can like carb cleaner.

But like Wicked said carb cleaner will be fine.
