Hi, everyone. I'm getting a 99 2.5L Ranger 2WD on Monday and I'd like to install aftermarket coolant temp and oil pressure gauges, as I like to be able to keep an actual eye on them. I don't care if the coolant temp gauge in the dash works, so I'm planning on removing that sensor and using that hole for the aftermarket gauge. For the oil pressure gauge, I'm planning on putting a T-fitting into the block and running both the aftermarket gauge and the stock pressure sender off of the T's two ends. So, what I need to make sure of is:
1. The location of the coolant gauge sender on the block (by the firewall?)
2. The thread size of that hole (1/8" NPT?)
3. Where is the oil sender located on the block?
4. What is the thread size of that hole?
Thanks a lot for any information!
