ok so ive been giving some thought to building a new bumper for my ranger one thst i could possibly mount a winch on and to build brush guard and what-not off of. Funds are tight and i was digging my motorcycle out of the shed and found one of the spare frame heads from when my dad was building VW's so was wondering what some peoples thoughts were here is a pic of the frame head

i dont see that posing any usefulness in bumper fabricating unless you were to mount it on the bottom side as a skidplate or something. youre better off to start with square tube or channel or round tube when making the back bone of the bumper.
