Ok I'm gonna mock it up today if I have enough 1x1's at home. Or maybe even 2x4's

But there's one measurement I cant find online that I need to get the ain't of tarp ill need.

If someone could do me a huge favor and measure the bed floor, to the top of the cab, that would be greatly appreciated.

I would have done it this morning before I left for work but I totally forgot. (You tend to forget things when waking up from 2 hours of sleep lol)

I have all the other measurements i need.

Just a DON'T... if you come across surplus or similar style loops that hard mount, and push through a hole in the fabric, then use a plastic clip on a drawstring to hook on the loop... don't waste your time or money with them. Those things break easily and don't ever hold tight. You'd find them on canvas backed humvee's.

EDIT: your little concept art, looks pretty nice. I like the idea. Maybe figure out a way to add some insulation (maybe the 1" rigid foam) if you expect to be going out in the cold, and a 1 piece tarp that can go over the entire setup in the rain. You know if you use velcro, zipper, or snaps it WILL leak like a sieve.

Oh I know anything I use with a loose fabric will eventually come undone Haha.

Won't be sleeping in it during cold, so insulation won't be necessary.

Why do you want fabric in the first place, instead of something rigid?

Easier to remove, lighter, and won't interfere with the future exo cage.

Maybe fabric over frame so it can do everything you're looking for, possible a collapsible, sectional frame for storage?

You could do like samurais do and have a metal strip that you screw down and it holds the edge of the cover tight to the body.

Hmm, now that's a good idea.

It takes a few min to put it on but it holds tight then you could put bars inside that will swing up and lock into place so it stretches the material taught.
