OK - scientific experiment here. If I put a shroud around a regular box fan and choke it down so it makes the most pressure it possibly could do you guys want to know how much pressure it makes? I work for a company that makes pressure measuring equipment that can measure 0.00001 psi. I agree this is total BS, but if a fan can only make 0.5 psi, it ain't gonna matter sh*t to the performance. I have seen turbos on airplanes though that only boost to sea level pressures and you don't have to mod the engine at all, but at high alitudes it helps a lot.
