From the truck that washed off the low water crossing back in December. I think there were 4 deaths, two they found on the riverbank, one found near, then this last one found downstream. That was from back in December (I posted it) so he was in the river a couple months.
It doesn't take much depth of fast moving water to push you off those crossings so it's better if there's any doubt, skip it.

AZ has a stupid motorist law. If you drive into a wash/flooded road and 1st responders come to the rescue, the driver pays the billed.

kind of makes sense because it wasn't an accident if you can see the water is high and you just drive on into it
especially if it's posted as flooded/closed
