[/IMG] :icon_confused: :annoyed: brakes locked in the rain and slid through a stop sign at 25mph and hit a 2006 chevy monte carlo ss, people had hedges planted on the corner and i couldn't see over them when i started to slide and when i slid through the stop sign the guy i hit went under my front bumper and spun me to the curb and i fliped on my side. i got luky and walked out of it with a dislocated finger :shok: time to build a new truck :annoyed:

oh snap! Were the other people hurt?

I guess we all like a new project from time to time....

thats some serious articulation

Hope your truck gets well soon...that's a shame...nice old truck...but the rebuild will make it up to you...all the best on that one bud!

That is exactly what I am afraid of happening. Lifted trucks make the bumper useless against cars. The axle takes the impact.

Truck dont look to bad. Just got to put that axle thingy back where it belongs......

if the frame isnt tweeked. time to salvage what you can and build a ranger:icon_thumby:

good mudders don't stop too well in the rain either. I hate those freaking baja claws on my Toyota ...... gonna ditch them for Geolanders for street driving........... i got Geolanders on the minivan ;)

the bumper was the first point of impact for him, and because when he spun me to the curband i hit the curb front right side first and fliped, saved my bacon, even though the frame got a little tweak in it the bumper kept the frame from taco'ing

bald mudders don't stop to well in the rain do they.

actually you can't tell from the pics but the tires have about 75% tread left. thought about a ranger, i like them but as hard as i hit it might have killed me
soon as i upload the pic i will post the other guy

Shame that was a nice older truck. Hope damage is not too bad or you can rebuild it.

I am trying to put together exactly what happened in my head. Did you end up facing the opposite way on the other side of the intersection?

i was heading north and clipped the west bound car and spun a 180* to face southbound while slamming into the curb with passenger front tire making me do a cartwheel landing on the passenger side. damage done: blew apart both front spring packs, sheared steering link from steering box to steering knuckle:shok: , sheared passenger motor mount, rotated driverside mount 45*, ripped off both shocks, tweaked frame 2inches on both sides, crumpled front fender(passenger side), munched passenger door. don't know how i walked away with only a dislocated finger :icon_confused: :icon_idea: the only thing i can figure is that the hand of god was on me. as far as the truck, it's a total, oh and almost ripped passenger front spring hanger off the frame. i guess when i do something, i don't do it halfassed.

That is a BAD day!
You got the wrong car! It was supposed to be the Honda!
If you were a little closer I would give you a running Ranger in exchange for that transfer case.
One thing to say, Your luck is bound to be better soon. It can't get much worse.
