My thoughts exactly.

I would maybe use a cleaned out traffic cone for an engine that might require a 5 gallon oil requirement. But I find the cut off top of a 2 liter works really good.

that's why i dont take my either of my cars or my wife's car to have the oil changed, i used to work at jiffy lube and i know what kind of knuckleheads they hire at those places

same here. I worked at a stealership..... I watched a guy get in a car and turn it over without the oil filter on all the way. Sprayed everyware as he drove it out of the bay.

Nice. Using that traffic cone is sort of like putting in the engine killer crap from Cash for Clunkers. If I get the quart bottles, I just carefully dump the first one in, get out my pocket knife and cut the bottom off of it. Then I've got a spanking clean funnel for the other bottles.
