YJM is a great guitarist, no doubt (attitude aside). Steve Vai is stellar, as is Satriani. All are at the top of my list. Don't forget Eric Johnson or Joe Bonamassa. Long list for me of "bests", though.

If you're into bass, check out Billy Sheehan.....somewhere I've got a concert DVD where he's Vai's bassist......matching him note-for-note.

Charlie Daniels is by far my favorite fiddler.
