Engine
2.3 EcoBoost
Transmission
Automatic
It's an 86.
Single Cab.
Long Bed.
A/C works, heater works, fan only works on max (resistor had to be removed, the airbox was damaged and when i fixed it there was no place to put the resistor)
2.9 with 135k
TK-5
2 Wheel drive.
No cruise, manual everything.
Vinyl Bench
AM Radio
New Clutch.
New Coil.
New TFI.
New Fuel filters.
New high pressure fuel pump.
Needs painted and a dent pulled from the bed, it's primered right now.
Tires need balanced but have plenty of tread left.

I'm hoping to get at least 1k, is that too much, or could i get even more?

for a 2wd truck that old, running and new parts, but with a primer'd body....i think you would be doing well if you got 1k around my area for it. If it were my truck i would post it for 1k and take as low as 800...but hope someone gave me askin price.

Running driving and passes inspection? if yes then ask 1200, if no, ask 1000 and take the 750-800

Am radio? Is that like XM radio that only broadcasts in the morning?

I think that AM stuff is back when they made CDs out of vinyl and 10x bigger to help fight corrosion and make them harder to scratch.

You're thinking of selling your Ranger?????

Read my post:

Your Ranger will exact revenge on the next vehicle you buy, unless it's another Ranger. :headbang:

I still have my Bronco II.

Also, yes, the ranger runs, drives, passes inspection, it's my DD right now.

Hey, the way I see it there is nothing wrong with making a little room in the stable. Maybe a first time truck buyer will pick it up. Being a used truck, he or she will need to repair a few things and end up here on TRS. The cycle continues.

BTW an 86' supercab 2wd 2.9 just sold around the corner from my shop for 1,250. Don't know the mileage but would guess by the condition it was comparable.
