thinking about the ranger again. build ideals

Does the ZF even fit to a Triton? I know they fit the 4.9 and the small blocks, but I'm not sure the ZF was ever used with the Tritons.

yea the zfs came behind the modular motors, they are just a lot harder to find and more expensive. right now im thinking the 35/44 hybrid and a narrowed dana 60 in the rear is my best bet for axels. that way they will be super strong and have room for building up. Any opinions on what t-case to look for if i go zf route.

Grab the T-case and rear axle out of whatever dead or dying truck you grab the transmixer out of. Dunno about the t-cases width, but you gotta find one that bolts to your transmission before you gotta worry about if it will fit between the frame rails.
