Well I came across a 76 F-150 4x4 for sale. It has a 360, C6, said it got a new fuel pump, carb, radiator, shocks, tie rod end, brakes(pads), front wheel bearings. He wants $600(more rust than sheet metal). I haven't drove it yet, but he said it runs stong and the 4x4 works perfect(high and low range). What transfer do you guys think it has, also was the 360 available for the F-150's? So what do you all think? Any advice appreciated, thanks.

i say take it and toss a new body on it. Maybe if it will fit an early 90s body on it?

I had a 76 F-100 with a 360. As for the t-case, does it have manual hubs or is the full times set-up? If its got hubs its probably the NP205 and if its full time, the NP203 (I may have those backwards, Its been a while), although my 76 had the Dana 20.

I may be looking at a 73 2wd shortbox with a 360. They're fun trucks.
