Nissan had one as well, they were good little trucks. One company that I worked for back in the 80's had one, we beat the snot out of it. I have no idea what rear axle Nissan used but it was definitely a full floater.Ford did have a chassis cab Ranger in the 80s like Toyota did, but thats not one of them.

It's a matter of personal taste but IMHO it looks like shit.
