They made a ranger dually?

LOL....that would be silly considering the relatively light duty nature of the 8.8 and the ranger in general.

wher do you by the adapters for the dual wheels? And what wheels do you use?

Ford did have a chassis cab Ranger in the 80s like Toyota did, but thats not one of them.

I'm not sure, but I think you need a dually axle. They are probably full float with a long spindle that can support two sets of bearings and wheels.

I think if you tried to adapt a regular axle into a dually, you'd put excessive strain on the output flange, due to increased leverage from the outer tire. It would be like running wheels that had a 12" offset.

I'm talking out of my ass here, but that's my best guess.

J.C. Whitney has a kit. Uses adapters/spacers with another pair of stock wheels and they also have the wideside flares.
It's a matter of personal taste but IMHO it looks like shit.

Nissan had one as well, they were good little trucks. One company that I worked for back in the 80's had one, we beat the snot out of it. I have no idea what rear axle Nissan used but it was definitely a full floater.

Only thing I could find was the fender flares.

Last I looked, it's been a while, the kit was not on the website but if you looked in an actual catalog it was still there.

Adaptors

the ranger chassis cab came with a 28 spline 8.8 with single wheels. ford has NEVER put a dually axle under the ranger...so all "dually" rangers you see out there are either the above kit, or an axle swap.
