good question
Hey all, gonna be replacing my thermostat as my truck isn’t getting warm, it will only sometimes barely reach n on the beginning of normal but usually Is floating around under that. Anyways the one I was looking at I believe I need a paper gasket or somthing like that but I thought the top circle needs a rubber o ring or somthing like that because in some thermostats there is one and some there isn’t

180 or 190 with the O-ring and a gasket as well. $10 or so. Auto Zone or Oreilly's. Not sure what's in your area.

I highly recommend getting a Motorcraft (OEM) thermostat. Too many problems with aftermarket ones, in particular sticking closed even when new.
