My 2000 ford ranger 3.0 flex thermostat gasket keeps leaking. I tried everything including a felpro perma gasket with no luck in stopping the leak. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Greg

I don't know how the 3.0 is but I have the 2.9 and the stock gasket is a O-ring. I had a small leak I could not get rid of so I ended up making a gasket with blue gasket sheet from Autozone along with the stock O-ring. Never had a leak again
