Its deffinatley going to be fun I think they must have changed the gears as well b/c it will smoke all 4 tires on the highway and a 2.9 isnt exactly a big power motor. Anybody have any ideas on building a tube bumper for this I need to build something but Im not sure where to go with it functionality is the only thing that matters idc how it looks.

I was not picking on him, just calling bullshit. I typically spend significant amounts of my time offering people good advice. But seriously? spinning ALL 4 with a 2.9? have you fallen off your rocker too? People miss representing something and standing behind it is VERY counter productive. He was honest, fessed up and he is a better man for it. I usually let minor exaggerations slide but spinning all 4 at once with a 2.9 is crazy talk.

Everyone needs humbled once in a while. I am sure midget has plenty to learn and plenty to offer the forum.

You know if I was a smartass... which in most cases I am I could go snap a pic of spinning all 4 down a wet gravel co. HWY flip yall the bird and be on my way lol. It could be worse though the last forum I joined I was immediately ridiculed b/c I mentioned driving on a Mud road in my Xterra and the first response jumped to the conclusion that I was tearing up level B roads instead of the truth in which I was on private property. Truth be told wether you like me or not I dont much care I participate on these forums for the part of the year below 50 degrees. When it rises above that on average Im never online b/c of work, camping ,wrenching, or my new hobby wheelin. yeah I was excited and exagerated but I have seen stranger things than a 2.9 do a 4 wheel burnout....

Some more progress I got my exhaust ran up behind in between the rollbar and cab but I need to put a rain cap on it yet. Picked up a toolbox from a friend for free and got it mounted up. Got the 34 LTB's mounted up last night and 2 D-rings welded onto each bumper. Also put a different filler neck on the fuel tank this one actually HAS a gas cap lol.

O and its no problem Ben you coming out to the MIOBI park sometime?

Finally all one color..well was until I rubbed a tree in the backyard, damn narrow ATV trail, and reveiled some of the blue....

Ok so I was working the truck today and decided to check the front axle just in case the guy had upgraded it by some stupid oddball chance and what do you know its got a D35 case its got the 12 bolts on the cover and ribbed and thats the way I understood to check for a d35 on an 89 right? Ok so I double checked the rearend and sure as shit its still the 7.5 who does that?

D35 = Smooth with 10 bolts
D28 = Ribbed with 12 bolts

Generally, unless you get into the hybrids.

Now mine looks Identical to the 35 housing in the pic sooo.... is it a typo or a 35? I possibly miscounted the bolts but the large ribs are kinda hard to mess up.
