Since we have a nice new spot for non RBVs, I guess I will make a spot for my dd.

2006 Chevy Silverado 4.3/auto, 3.73gears turning 35's; hence the nickname.

Stuff done to it:
4" Rancho lift with R9000 shocks
4 Procomp 8hole steelies.
Had 4 Toyo MTs, now 2 Toyo and 2 BFG MT KM2s on the rear
Brushguard, nerf bars, taillight guards
KC 6" slims
Mandatory pin striping by tight trails
Blue Leer cap I got for free a week ago to use offroad and for fitting things before I install them to my new cap.

Stuff to do:
Re-gear
winch bumper w/ winch
install flares and mudflaps
more lights
make the lights brighter
Goodyear tires next time
aluminum wheels
better brakes
more pin striping

I like it, how does the 4.3 do? We have one in my dads 96 c1500 and its pretty darn fast

just drop a duramax 6.6 in it and you wont have a problem.

I was thinking more of a 6.4 :icon_twisted:.

In other news, I found out 2 tons bottoms out the suspension.
I drove 20 miles with 2 tons of pavers from a job. Bad idea, but somehow, still managed to drive like there was nothing. Stopping is another story.

Never noticed, but my phone takes decent photos.

she is sweet

I try. Wish it was a Ford still.

i like it for a chevy

Thanks.

Update. There will be a lack of updates and extras for the truck. Looking at a Mustang this weekend. No questioning it because it will end up sold as always. After that, I am looking to get a bumper and winch.

I guess I should update this a little.

Since last update
Cap removed. Headache rack in it's place. Wilson 2000 antennae installed to it using a custom (bedframe piece) mount welded to the rack. Used selftappers to install lights brackets.

What kind of lights should I get for the outside of rack? Bigger square ones, 6" Daylighters, a set of 8" round lights or another set of KC driving lights?

This weeks plans:
New pads and rotors
Might be using a "new" leaf in the back for extra support.
Repaint the pindle hitch I have.

Also looking for a new tires (Looking at Goodyear, BFG, Toyo and Fierce) and possibly aluminum wheels.
Any recommendations?

Looking
