My favorite place sells powder guns then all you need is a old oven . 400 degrees for 20 minutes is all it takes . But I wouldn't , just spray'em .

as for those swampers you were grooving you can dig down between the tread block quite a way and get some more lug outta them just takes a long long time.

You can't go down below the lowest part of the lug or body of the tire

i dont see why not. people shave thier sidewalls to get more flex outta the tire all the time. this is now different plus as i said my biggu did it on his toyota he got 1/4" outta them id say. now if it goes on the street it may not be "legal" but if you were to drive your truck up here half it it isnt legal lol

For as much salt as you guys got there, I would definitely powder coat those things. The clear coat would be toast if you got a nick in it.

Although, powder coating is damned expensive. Just squirt 'em and run 'em.

Ive cut several set's of tire's (over 12 set's for sure) and have cut inbetween the tread on 99%l of them and have never had a problem with a single one. it's not too rare to knick into the belting either (not suposed to) but still never had a problem. the only one's i dont cut the inbetween stuff outta is if the tire's have good tread and just need some "tuning" however most of the stuff around here is mud with a little rock's and dirt.

These are some 33's i cut for the IN-LAW'S B2 which has seen quite a bit of offroad no leak's minor chunking which i would expect even on a new tire.

thats about how far my buddy got between the tread blocks he knicked a belt once no leaks though. i plan on doing nmy tires that way once they get work down enough to need it

i was hoping to get atleast a tire or 2 grooved tonight but he didnt get them back to me yet
