the slo-vo build thread...

nice build slo-vo. Pretty clean fab work and the tube bed gives it an original look, you might get some tube under those doors soon before they get haggard on a rock though.
I run a true track rear aussie front, my truck does real nice on the trail and on the street. Perfect setup for a DD/trail pig IMO.

I'm about to be running Auburn front and l/s rear in the BII as well. My buddy is running the same 'cept with an ARB front and that thing will climb 'til he gets in trouble.

Yep, locked up front is where its at. I'm Aussie up front, L/S in the rear. There's been a couple times where not having a locker in the rear has screwed me, but not enough to make a rear locker high priority on my list.

yea sliders are coming soon, ive already had to hammer whats left of the rocker down a few times to get the door open

with the detroit out back i cant even tell the locker is back there really, but ive been in a few places that the true-trac has let me down up front like on a few ledges and such but over all it does pretty good

oh well im sure ill find something else soon to skip over so i can get those done :D

Yep locker in the front keeps 'er going! However, and you can ask Ranger SVT, it takes some getting used to feathering the go and stop to keep that thing unlocking so you can make the tight turns at TB. If not, you'll be sawing on that wheel all day long!

yea im not worried about it for now, ill wait till i go fullsize...

i gots a new idear for shock mounts that goes back to my original idea of hoops but with a little twist...

ill put a mock up teaser pic in a few but cant go through with it until i get some more tubeing monday or tuesday.

Nice build man. I love the fenders. Very clean.
