I didn't see any use in the top of the door just made them heavier and blocked more view...... So off they went, I haven't finished the hinges yet but they will be done soon

Yeah I haven't hacked apart any doors yet so I wasn't sure if the upper part added structural integrity to the door. You definitely have one of the best looking half doors though!

with the top of the door welded in with 10 gauge they are solid as can be...

im debating on the otherside if im going to do the kick down in it...might just cut it straight across since im usually either alone or whoever is with me wont be leaning out the door...but it might look a little funny so who knows

i hope the end product looks good, ive got abou 8-10 hours in that one door alone

IMO it would look goofy but I haven't seen a rig with one half door and one kinda half door.

lol yea...was just a lazy idea...cutting those doors and getting them straight is a pain in the ass!

gotta get my cupholder cut into the top and do a little finish grinding throw on a coat of paint and the door itself will be done....hinges will be done at the same time

I say go for em mixmatched half doors! Nobody does it, it's different!! Set a new fab and the reasons behind make sense! Also don't need some seat cover falling out, when she's peerin out to far, and you're flexing & leanin like you do at TB!

Yep! Prjected 98 degrees w/111 heat index. I'll have to be workin that A/C controller on & off as I kind of heat up crawlin! I got to make an adjustment to my fan shroud to get 3" of radiator back that the fan ain't suckin any air thru. I got a couple ideas though. That Gap guard material I got may get fabbed into the fan shroud!! It's stiff enough!
I shocked the crap outa the pool today as it wasn't lookin too good, so if everyone once to head here (21.9 miles) after TB for a dip and a few of these along with some of that "special sauce" coolin in the fridge that Frank's scared of! It's cool!!

I always got cold refreshment and I'm only havin a mini margarita tonight since we ain't gotta go to PAP tomorrow. A mini not three!
But I can make up for it Saturday night as once it's all over I ain't going no where, but down in my cool basement, and stick a leg outa the bed onto the floor to keep the room from spinnin, sometimes ya gotta hold that sucker down. And I won't subject anyone to chinese (whatever the hell that was about)! I have got some steaks and other fleshy meat in the freezer if we wanna grill something up!
