Lookin good, do they even make 1.5" lift? is it worth the trouble to skim a 2" down to 1.5" or make up a 1.5"?

im makeing my own body lift...not much to it

Jon, you know the newer rangers (01+??) front hangers' mounts are vertical, not V shaped like our rangers...If you haven't already gotten that style, it might give you more room with those 63's and your body mount bracket:icon_thumby:

How come you had to take the fuel tank out?

When you replace the front hangers, you have to slide the fuel tank over to get access to the inside framerail for the nuts/bolts...I think he opted to just remove the tank rather than balance it and install the hardware, pretty much need 3 hands to do that...

This is a sweet little truck you got going for you, I have a 94 extended cab I am throwing a 5.5 superlift on right now in the RBV's under construction. I really just need to make some Extended RA's like you did. Good Progress, I will definately be watching this thread.
Out of curiousity, how much did you pay for the 63's. I can get them from a junkyard around here for $50 a pack, seems reasonable but I just want to make sure that I'm not getting robbed

$50 a pack is about right...I'd get em if they had it...I'm needing 8" lift 63's for my setup, wish they had 10" 63's:icon_confused:

today i went to order the 01+ hangers and they were $80 a piece compared to the 94 stuff which was $33...so i opted for the 94's and it turns out they arent even close to my body mount

thanks man ill have to check yours out....

so they want $50 for one leaf pack or for both? i paid $33 for both packs out the door

Ahh, yea, in the writeup? On the gen 4's I think the tank is a couple inches to the middle, i could fit a wrench in there no problem on my 99.

The JY wanted $50 for one leaf pack or $100 for both. I would have had them sitting on my garage floor right now for $33

ouch yea 100 is pretty steep....is that with you pulling them?

btw....63 swap is almost done...just waiting to get the springs re-arched

Oh yeah, wish we could get b4 and after or side by side pics of the springs being re-arched...how much can you get them re-arched and how much $$ is it costing you?? I was going to get 8" 63's, but the cheapest I found them was around $270 each pack...

search threads by racerranger97 and look for a thread called rear long travel...

stock the leafs have 9 inches of arch and im taking them to 12 or possibly 13 to make up for a little sag....probably going to be about $80-90 to get them done
