the slo-vo build thread...

John can hook you up with that, we had to replace his hangers, I think they were like 20 a piece from a yard by his house...While you are replacing hangers, are you going to do the 63 swap?? If you are, and are going to do the reversal hanger as well, here is a thought, if you use the rear hanger from a chevy, you can set it up as a reversal but the chevy hanger hangs down lower than the ford hangers...this will give you around 3-4 inches of lift and benefit from long travel...
SVT

im gunna hit the yard tommarow and see if i can pull a set of 63's....and i will be reversing them but i plan on re-arching the spring...and if that is not enough i will do an f-150 front hanger

Hey, could you take a few pics of your exhaust setup for me? and what size pipe are you running after the cat and how does it sound? I was thinking of doing the same thing because my exhaust is pretty exposed where it is now. And could you tell me what parts you need to do it?

i just cut the factory exhaust at the back of the muffler welded mine on (cheepo $30 thrush turbo) then out of the back i used 2 1/4 header U-bends and cut and worked my way over the frame and back dawn...used a 3in hole saw cut where i wanted and found a bend to stick out the bed....it was a real pain in the ass with no body lift making the tube go over the frame between the bed without rattling on everything

i pay $21 per bracket , brand new
looks like thats the way im gunna go

well because i have no BL and i didnt pull the bed i had a hard time rigging up a hanger for the tail pipe so i just let it float...it rattled a little at first but i cut a piece of vaccume line and split it and slid it over the edge
