Hey, a little Jack, and there’s no telling where I might show up

This link, below might be worth reading. I got caught up in a bunch of links for Texas laws a minute ago. It appears that they have a max length of 45 feet for a single vehicle. But that seems to be just a truck. It would apply to your Ranger itself. But the trailer changes things as a tractor & trailer combo. But what you probably want is the breakdown for CDL being required. It looks like a lot of those laws concentrate more on GVW limits.

Probably.
. . . but . . .
What if he wants to go to Canada?

Ok. I’ll bite. If the coupler comes loose and the trailer is sailing off into the woods, where are the lights getting power from?

I was researching the trailer core’s origin. It’s a 1995 Coleman pop-up made by Fleetwood who subsequently went bankrupt in 2009. Only the name survives.

But I found the original brochure, and I also found the owners manual.

@ericbphoto, read over the emergency break away section, and then re-read my post above where you were mocking me! I believe an apology is in order…

That’s the answer, as long as everything is connected properly. I’ll go through my photos and make sure you had the cable lanyard secured to some non-removable thing on the truck.

Everything is removable… it all depends on how much effort you wish to exert and what tools you have at your disposal.

If this case, if you would look at my welding skills, @ericbphoto would be correct…

Hey. It held together from Atlanta to Carlisle and back. Your welding can't be too bad.

My welding, and my welds, are like living in the wilderness with a woman after the apocalypse. Pretty would be nice, but even with the bumps and cuts and ugly, what’s important is that it holds together, gets you home, does what you need.

I still want to get underneath and look if anything has shaken loose. I’m going to check the truck and trailer too…

The holes I drilled were too big for the rubbers I had, and this happened:

Does anyone know where I can get some reverse light Viagra?
