Well think of it this way, in ten years Rangers will be worth a lot more, because they simply won't be available. I love the F-150's, but Ford is making a big mistake by thinking they will supplement the Ranger. Not everyone wants a full sized rig. You see more rangers on the road, then any other truck out there. To me that says something....

ford needs to start making real trucks. my dad has an 05 f-150, barely fits threw the gate or the burger king drive threw. the new ranger dont look anything like a work truck, reminds me more of a ford escape.. well, there wont be a shortage of rangers tho, seems like 1 in every 20 cars on the road is a ranger...

According to petersons offroad, the ranger is done next year. The t-6 platform built in australia and asia will run around everywhere but here. The reasoning behind fords decision is declining sales and hte fact that all the fullsizes get the same mileage of the compacts which defeat the purpose. But I figure if they can get that better mileage out of the fullsize why cant they put the new 3.7 in hte ranger and get better mileage out of it and get their sales back, apparently the colorado and similar options as well as dakota are done for too.

Maybe like a Ford, but not like a Ford Truck. Looks sorta like a Honda Ridgeline
