The Lightning Returns!

Why exactly would you not hear the tires squealing anymore? Do electric cars not have tires? :dunno:
Have you seen a Tesla do a burn out????

The answer is NO, NO you have not.

And yet a model 3 performance has a faster 0-60 time than a 2020 GT500... :icon_rofl:

Poor Raptor... It reeeeeeeally needs a V8 now to compete with those numbers...

Not true

Actually that is a '150 cab on a Expedition frame, cab mounts mostly lined up even. :icon_twisted:

Truck camper groups in FB were going nuts over the weight calculating thing on regular F-150's a couple weeks ago.

Racing fuels replaced with batteries, the smell of burning rubber replaced with the smell of circuit chips operating at max capacity and the sound of tires squealing down the 1/4mile replaced with the "whiiiirrrr" of an electric motor whispering away in the distance.
😔😔😔😔

I can picture someone hauling a running generator, plugged in to the truck that is hauling it. 😆

There are a number of videos out there of individuals who have hacked Tesla's allowing them to do burnout.

"It's even quicker than the original!"

I'd damn well hope that a brand new truck would be quicker than one 30 years old lol.

30 years old? The first Lightning's were 93 - 96. They were 351 Windsor making 240 hp. Herein referred to as Generation I. Then 99 - 04, with blown 5.4, making 360 and 380 hp. Herein referred to as Generation II. All us Lightning owners at LightningRodder and National Lightning Owners Club, are laughing our asses off at this FUGLY thing Ford is calling a Lightning.

There is rumor that an option is a generator in the bed, in what looks like a toolbox. So much for pure electric. That would make it a hybrid.
