This exact same discussion is going on over at LightningRodder.com, and the overwhelming opinion is if it doesn't have a gas engine with a blower, NO THANKS! I feel the exact same way. I like my vehicles to go Vroom-Vroom. And my Lightning actually sounds like it has a blower on it, even when just idling. Electric vehicles are not my cup-o-tea. Plus, my main interest in the Lightning is the Gen.II flared fender version. I just think they are the epitome of the F-150. PERIOD! The first Gen.s are cool. Anything after, NO THANKS!
There was a mention in the other forum about the NHRA bringing out an electric drag racing class. LMAO!!! I don't care how fast they are, without the sound and the lovely smells that are drag racing, I'd rather watch a large puddle of water evaporate.
