But... the off rod diesel is so much cheaper and I have crap loads of it. Are you sure I can't run it in my blower?

I heard the resultant exhaust from a secret ingredient in the red die is great for killing mosquitos (and a few other things)

That goat would have probably self ignited had it found last years pepper patch in my backyard..

Any Carolina Reapers in there? Looks like them, top left red shriveled, but I'm not a Pepper Expert. Tobasco is about as spicy as it gets for me.

Nah, he came clean and said he must have grabbed the wrong can. He was rather embarrassed about it actually.

I farted on your car. Please contact my insurance agency for compensation for damages.

No Reapers in there... the ones you refer to are Ghost peppers. I will never go anything over the Habanero on the Scoville scale. That's where I draw line... I learned all I need to know with that batch.

Reapers and ghost peppers are technically the same thing, just different "breeds". The last ghost peppers I grew made jabenaros seem like cucumbers. I never grew them again. I'm with grump, jabenaros are strong enough. Anything else is just for dares and people showing off. Why anyone would grow a reaper is beyond my comprehension, they don't even qualify as edible.

There is one reason to grow ghost peppers and the like...

The Grocery store next to my pizza shop sells ghost peppers for $3.99 each. My ghost pepper plant yielded close to 100 peppers in the season. My pepper patch could handle probably 13 plants...

I don't like anything spicy. I am picking a bunch of the white and yellow squash right now.

I don’t like anything squash. I’ll eat the peppers.

If this rain doesn't stop... I won't have a garden at all this year. It had stopped for the last two days and I figured I could actually plant tomorrow... I wake up today and it's raining again. The farmers are in trouble here this year too... anything they already planted was washed out and alot of fields still have lakes in the middle.

There has to be a way to engineer a way around that. Giant flamethrowers? Truckloads of sponges?

If we can do this, we can do anything. ?

I also have corn, okra, maters, 6 different types of beans, eggplants, and some peppers planted on surrounding family land.

I should have tarped off my raised beds... at least I could have got those going by now.

My goal every year is to can 40 quarts of tomatoes and 6 batches of salsa. I achieved that for years once I got serious about my garden. I had not bought a canned tomato or jarred salsa in years. Last year was the exception... my canning tomatoes were a bust. When they got to size and started to ripen... they would split and rot. I managed two batches of salsa and the damn ghost peppers ruined one of them. I fear it will be another long year without my home grown tomatoes.

Wtf is a squash? Arent those the things people use for holloween decorations?
