By leaving craigslist's sporting section up on a tab and constantly refreshing it throughout the day. People post guns on there frequently, but most are flagged and deleted within an hour or so. I usually catch them before they get pulled. No harm in it really. My third craigslist gun purchase, and just one of hundreds of gun ads i've seen on there.

Sks was $400. The scope alone was $180 brand new.

My one and only gun. A Winchester 22 longrifle built in 1948. It was my great grandad's, and I keep it for more sentimental reasons. I just like the way you load the shells in the stock. Not uncommon but I think its unique.

Most are fired from a rest. Not really meant to be shoulder fired. The idea was to use it like flak and fire it into a large formation of geese, either on the water or in the air. It was more an "area of affect" weapon than a laser.

I've got a couple of the normal ones, Mini 14 & 30, couple of 22's old 12 ga Winchester Model 1897. I one I thought was neat was the one my Grandpa carried when he was a train conductor out west around 1900. Little brother has it now. Got all the documentation right from S & W. The still have the records going back that far for anyone interested.

That's awesome! I'm glad to hear you got an answer on what model revolver that was. I actually have a pretty old (full too) box of 38 s&w long ammo for that pistol.

I like it a lot! Got around 400 rounds through it so far without a problem, accurate as hell too!

Romanian AK's are down to $379 at Dunhams sports...sunday and monday this week they were $349. That's a hell of a good price for what you're getting. WASR-10 double stacks... This may just be enough to convince me to get one.

Finally picked my self up some compact home protection.

Anyone have any input as to the quality and reliability of this bad boy? It's a FEG PA-63 9x18mm. Most of what I've head about it, is it's a pretty decent gun.

Oh yeah, I only payed $249 for it brand new! Only the test round fired through it. I'm pretty stoked!
