The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly Build

One year ago...

One year ago, I took this picture

and I took this picture of the same truck that has not moved since today

I have been taking parts off since the fire.

sad day in awesomeville :(

Replaced the whole brake line system today. All hard line and hoses.

Man that still sucks thinking about what happened to the rig. But I have no doubts it will be back and as awesome as ever:icon_thumby:

I'm Back!

Well it's been over a year since the fire and I'm back to the point I was then.

I put the rear bumper back on and added to the theme.

nice!

i still think a nice bob of the bed would go well... btw... maybe even a chopped roof?

I do have another cab, I thought of cutting up in the garage, body drop and chop top.

I have a "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" 8track I would totally donate to you if you used it in the truck somehow (Cough Cough*8 Track player in the ranger*).

OK, the call is out for an in dash 8 track player, need not work! The dash hole for the stereo is now covered up and the deck is in the console. I would totally rock an 8 track in the dash, who has one?

i have one in my other ranger because the PO ripped the stereo out, but its powered by a 120ac power inverter... gota have my frank zappa!

It is the good the bad and the ugly, and more movies soundtrack. But the picture is the good the bad and the ugly. It also plays i put it in yesterday and tested it and used it to test my 2nd 8track player, that's right i have 2 working 8track players lol

Little update, I have had the Ranger out and about for a while now and put about 2000 miles on the odometer. She is running great! I must admit though, I'm kind of sad my build thread is done. Well, they're never really done. I have done some little touches as well as built a motorized bicycle to match the truck to carry around in the bed. I'll get some pics soon.

As for the bobbed bed, I'm still on leaf springs out back so the bob would be a lot of work for little results. If I can get a four link under there, the bob will follow shortly.

you can probably chop a foot out without running into leaf spring issues... can't you?
